I discovered this album completely by accident yesterday, and if you haven’t listened to it, do! It was a collaboration to raise money for HIV/AIDS research and awareness, and is also just one of the best compilations of contemporary artists that you could hope to find. It was produced by Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National, and has covers and exclusive original tracks by artists like Grizzly Bear, Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, Jonsi & Alex, The National, and heaps of others. I sound like such a ridiculous blatant promoter right now but I don’t care because this album is so goddamn fantastic!
